Seventh Generation #HealthyBabyHome

Thanks for joining me to talk about an awesome party I recently had #sponsored by Seventh Generation. If you've never heard of the company, here's some background info and I seriously recommend ysh chemicalsou look them up and give them a try! Seventh Generation is a company that cares about your family today, their futures, and for generations to come. They are a company that helps you with products to give your family a greener healthier environment.
Their products include diapers, wipes, dish detergents, laundry soaps, and hand soaps to name a few. They're safe for sensitive skin and are free of harsh chemicals. They have products for your home, baby, and family in general.
The reason I love this company is because of the good they offer to the community. A greener message! You don't have to live a completely vegan lifestyle to still want less chemicals in your products that you use in your home. Everyday products your family uses and breathes in and touches.
So, I recently had the awesome opportunity to host a #HealthyBabyHome Party this past weekend. I was sent out adorable bags, samples from Seventh Generation, baby vitamins from Zarbees, and a Bobble water bottle. I started off my party with a showing of Healthy Child Healthy World's "A Wake-Up Story" on fighttoxins.com. After they watched I had my laptop set up so if guests wanted to look through fighttoxins.com and contact our legislator to support the Cleaning Products Right to Know Act. It's an Act that requires companies to disclose ingredients on labels. As consumers, we have a right to know what we're buying and what they're putting in our products. Personally, I'd like to give my kids a safer greener option and when you don't know what's in the products you're purchasing, it's upsetting.
We then played Healthy Home Bingo. They sent me the cutest Bingo cards! It wasn't just plain Bingo, we actually learned helpful hints and tips. To the winners I provided special prizes sent out by the company...full pack of Seventh Gen diapers, Bobble water bottle from Bobble, Full size pack of wipes from Seventh Gen., and a natural dish liquid also from Seventh Generation.
After my party of 14 ate, played Bingo, and got all kinds of helpful and insightful info, I sent them home with goodie bags of samples from Zarbees, and Seventh Generation, along with coupons, and extra info about the companies and an awesome money saver from Bobble. The party was a success and it felt good to inspire friends and family to connect with great companies as well as share their ideas and concerns.
If any of you are intersted I recommend you sign up at generationgood.net connect with other people, your community, be heard, and have an opportunity to sample products that I know you'll fall in love with!
I'll end by saying this party was sponsored and I received free samples along with my guests. I do, however, plan on having another party on my own with more Seventh Generation, Zarbees, and Bobble products. I'd also like to do a giveaway soon. I want everyone to try these products and urge you all to check out fighttoxins.com. Have an awesome day, week, month, and years to come!!

Quick Recipes for the Busy family!

Everyone I know is always on the go. Kids school programs, after school games, work, extra curricular activities. You know the drill. But everyone I talk to has the same thing in common. They try as much as possible to make dinner at home that's delicious, but not time consuming. Dinner time, especially for my family is when we're all at home and can all squeeze in some family time and relax and enjoy good food. Here's some great recipes that are delicious, home cooked, and taste like you spent hours when all you need is at the most 30 minutes.
These great recipes come from Campbell's website. http://www.campbellsauces.com/
Campbell's offers so many amazing recipes that are quick and easy. I've made several for my family including the chicken pot pie. All you need for this recipe is a can of biscuits, each raw biscuit being cut in half and rolled out to a layer of dough. Place in a non-stick muffin pan and pour in Campbell's Chunky Pub Style Chicken Pot Pie Soup, fold over dough and pinch together. Bake at 350 deg. for 8-10 minutes. One can of dough makes 16 individual mini pot pies. Or make a big pot pie pouring the soup and layering Crescent rolls on top and baking at 350 degrees until the layered crescent rolls on top are done.
Another easy meal idea get 2 cans Campbell's Chunky Beef & Bean Roadhouse Chili cans pour into baking dish and make a box of cornbread mix...your preference, but maybe Jiffy cornbread mix. Pour over chili. Bake at 350 degrees until cornbread is done usually 20 minutes or so and for an extra add on sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese on top. Delicious!
These are just a few ideas. Quick simple and cost effective meal ideas for any size family. My kid's love all the meals we've tried using The Campbell's SKillet sauces Creamy Parmesan Chicken was a favorite for sure. Also the oven sauces and if you don't have time in the evening use your slow cooker in the morning so a good hot meal is ready for the evening. They have a variety of great slow cooker sauces from Campbell's and tasty recipes on their website like Tavern Style Pot Roast and a few others.
Thanks to being a part of the Crowdtap Campbell's Taster's group I was sent out many of the products to review free. Definitely check out all Campbell's has to offer and they have coupons on their site as well to make an already affordable dinner using Campbell's even more affordable. Happy Cooking with Campbell's!

Definite Must Have for EVERY Home!

It's that lovely time of year. Colder weather and family and friends together celebrating the holidays! What could go wrong? Oh yea...it's also flu season. Snow on the ground and that cold frosty air can certainly bring on more than just holiday cheer.
Don't get me wrong I always have tissues on hand. i have kids and allergies, and kids that have allergies too. My favorite brand to keep on hand is Kleenex. Can we talk about it!? The design on the boxes are awesome! They have holiday ones and many colors and patterns. There's a design for everyone's taste and not to mention the many styles and variety of packs the Kleenex Brand tissues come in. There's different size packages and packs to go. Totally handy to have in your purse or car. Especially if you'll be traveling this holiday season. Heck, even if you're just taking a trip to the grocery store. Tissues come in handy in many ways.
Now, down to the nitty gritty of why I like Kleenex Brand tissues. They're perfectly sized. They're so soft and absorbent. If you have kids you know they can sometimes be little messy or snot factories. Those little noses can blow out some mean sized snot! Kleenex doesn't disappoint. No tear or wet hands after a massive nose blow of mucous. Like many out there I have somewhat sensitive skin and when I get a cold I tend to get red especially from blowing my nose and having to wipe it so many times. Kleenex doesn't irritate my skin and it's so soft my nose doesn't get all raw and sensitive from wiping it.
Kleenex also has many varieties of tissues to choose from. Not just size-wise! Kleenex also came out with an Anti-Viral Kleenex. It kills the spread of the virus by 99.9% of cold and flu viruses.  Way to go Kleenex! Big sanitized high five for this product! They also have cool touch tissues that are, you guessed it, cool to the touch. Then of course my personal favorites that are in our home year round..the Kleenex Brand tissues with lotion and the Kleenex Ultra soft. Extra soft and absorbent.
Holidays may be coming to an end, but school will be back in session and colds and flu virus are always around. Be prepared and pamper yourself with Kleenex Brand tissues.

Nescafe with Coffeemate in one!!

My tastebuds are exploding with so much flavor right now! My five senses are going cray cray! I received a free sample of the new Nescafe with Coffeemate creamer all in one instant coffee in the flavor Hazelnut. Just add a couple tablespoons in with hot water and BAM! Coffee that smells so good! Looks creamy and delicious! Feels so nice going down my sore throat right now! Tastes so rich and decadent my tastebuds are dancing all over the place that you can hear me say aaaahhhh.
I'm loving the fact that Nescafe and Coffeemate have paired together! That's just a match made in Heaven! What I'm really thrilled about was how simple and fast this coffee is and it's so great for on the go! You're saving time and money and not sacrificing any flavor! This is truly a cup of coffee you'll want to use to entertain guests with, or drink with a friend while you chat, or even when you just need that "me-time" pick me up! Three delicious flavors in Original, Hazelnut, and French Vanilla.
I'm so impressed with this coffee it was the inspiration for my gift basket idea! I decided to get gift baskets and enclose the three flavors of Nescafe with Coffeemate in one, muffin mix, 2 coffee mugs that you can just pick up from your local Walmart, Target, Dollar General, or Dollar Tree. Doesn't have to be fancy. Trust when I say the Nescafe will steal the show! Throw in some candy canes and other Christmas candies i.e., Hershey's kisses wrapped n holiday wrappers and other candies you see. It's inexpensive, so great for secret Santa gifts, coworkers, Church groups, Teachers, friends, neighbors, family...who wouldn't want to receive the gift of great tasting coffee for the holidays!?
I thought this was a fun friendly gift and great for last minute especially if you know they'll be traveling for the holidays. This coffee would be great for an on the go road trip! Hope this helped or inspired you or at least made you realize how much you really should try this coffee! :)

Holiday Festive Look!

The holidays are upon us and of course you want to look festive and gorgeous! I thought this was a neat look and fun and flirty and festive! It's simple to achieve and the end result is so pretty. I hope you like it and feel free to substitute any products used and of course take it and make it your own. Happy Holidays!

1. Of course you want to start by prepping your face. Make sure you have a clean surface to work with. If your a dry skin girl like me definitely don't forget the moisturizer :) Also prime your lips for a decadent rich red color we'll be doing at the end. I used Burt's Bees lip balm. Anyone will do, I also love Softlips cube for this step as well.

2. I started with my eyelids just incase of any fallout. I used MAC Pro longwear Concealer in NW20 and just patted onto my eyelid to prime my eyes and get rid of any lid discloration and to make my shadows last longer.
3. After priming I applied my crease color from the NAKED Basics 1 palette. I used W.O.S. actually I applied it all over my eyelid too.

4. I then used the Wet & Wild trio in Knock on wood. I used the Brow bone color (top shade) on the top part of my eyelid and crease.
5. Using the same trio I used the eyelid shade (bottom color) and applied it to the outer corner and up into my crease and in the inner eyelid, leaving the center of the eyelid blank.
6. I wanted to deepen up the outer eye so I went in with the Lorac Pro palette in the shade, Garnet. I also took this color up into my crease and into the inner corner as well.

7.For the center of the eyelid I used an Estee LauderPure Color Stay-On Shadow Paint in the color 08Steel. I put a generous amount on my fingertip and dabbed it directly in the center.
8.Then I lined my eyes with Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eye Liner. I did do a slight wing. I also used the Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes and applied mascara to my upper eyelashes after I curled them. I applied the Ardell Lashes in 102 Demi's for a more added dramatic effect. It gives the extra OOMPH I wanted for this look. I also used DUO lash adhesive  in dark tone.
9.Now with my face. I used my Estee Lauder Illuminating Primer first then I used the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation. If you have a long day/night ahead of you and you don't want to do a lot of touch-ups this foundation is awesome for that. It stays put and lasts beautifully all day. I blended this in using the Real Techniques Beauty Sponge. It's an awesome dupe for the Beauty Blender and like 1/3 of the cost.
I then moved on to apply my concealer. I used the MAC Pro longwear concealer in NW20. I applied it by putting it in a triangle under my eye and dabbed in using the Real Technique sponge and made sure to blend upward to hide any dark circles and also perk up the face with a highlight. Don't foget to set under eyes with a powder if you need to. I used the Tarte Smooth Operator.

11. After my foundation and concealer I Highlighted down the center of my nose, my forehead center, under my eyes, the cupid's bow of my lips, and the sides of my nose and mouth area. Blend it out and move on to contouring.

For my contour I used the NARS Laguna and applied in the hollows of my cheekbones, down the sides of my nose, around my forehead/hairline and jawline. Blend til it all looks perfect!
For blush I used the Estee Lauder Pure Color Blush in Audacious Plum.I just applied on my cheekbones and blended upward.

12.For my brows I used the Anastasia Brow wiz and filled them in like I normally would. Gives a little more definition and frames your face.

13. Now to finish off my eyes...I decided to go use a festive green color on my bottom lash line. I used the Wet & Wild trio in Cool as A Cucumber and used the bottom green color. Then on top of that I used the NYX eye pencil in Green Papaya. For an under brow color I used MAC shadow in Shroom. I also applied Lancome Definicils mascara in black to the bottom lashes.
Now for the finale!! I decided to go with a festive red lip! I Lined my lips using Urban Decay 24/7 lipliner in Venom all over my lips. On top of the liner I applied Kat Von D Painted Love Lipstick in Hellbent.
*For finishing touches and this is totally optional..I used the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous light on the tops of my cheek bones and after I set my face with the Urban Decay Chill Makeup Setting Spray. Also to brighten up the inner rim of my eyes and make the green really pop I lined the inner bottom rim of my eyes with the Urban decay eye pencil in Naked Basics, the lighter shade of the duo.

This is the finished look! I hope you enjoy it and make it your own. Have fun with it! Happy Holidays from me to you!
Don't forget after a long day/night of celebrating, wash your makeup off and pamper yourself with a good skincare regimen. Use a Clarisonic to get a deep clean. Your eye cream, face serum, and moisturizer will all work so much better! Not tomention your skin will thank you by looking it's best!

Zep Cleaning Products

If you are like me right now you're asking yourself, "What's Zep?" I'll answer that for you...it's awesome cleaning products you need in your life! You know if your house gets dirty at all. I was sent out 5 samples of Zep Cleaning products. Two of the Zep All-Around Oxy Cleaner & Degreaser and Three Zep Disinfectant sprays. I gave some away and kept one of each to review.
Let's start with the Zep All-Around Oxy Cleaner & Degreaser, shall we? This stuff cleans so many surfaces. I used it on my stove after making some fried chicken one night for dinner, because we all know that's a huge mess waiting to happen. I sprayed it let it set for a couple minutes went back and my stove wiped clean as a whistle! I also used it to clean the microwave plate and some orange colored Kool-aid that was spilled on my counter. I sprayed and it lifted and no stains! I also used this in the bathroom on the sink and the bathtub.
Moving on to the Zep Disinfectant spray. My favorite thing about this product is it kills 99.9% of bacteria in 5 seconds!! I used this everywhere! It's that time of season and germs are eveerywhere and especially if you have kids you want something fast sacting that you can just spray and wipe down. I used this on faucets, fridge, door knobs, toilet handles, light switches, counters. Anything that stood still I sprayed I think.
My conclusion is you definitely need to give this a try! Home depot has this amazing stuff and in my opinion I wish I had knwon about it sooner. They have a full range of products and even drain clog removers. It works fast and cleans without a lot of hassle and time. As I mentioned I received free samples via Crowdtap for purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own.
